Tim Harrington
Tim has been a leader in the direct response industry for over 30 years pioneering the infomercial business alongside his brother, Kevin Harrington before founding his own company, Harrington Global.
From 1987 to 1991 he served as President of Quantum International, which parlayed a $75,000 investment into $50 million in first year sales. National Media, a New York Stock Exchange company merged with Quantum, and Tim served as Executive Vice President of National Media from 1991 to 1994. During this time National Media grew from an $18 million market cap to $500 million. National Media was also the first company to launch infomercials internationally.
Upon moving to St. Petersburg in 1994, Tim served as the co-founder of HSN Direct. HSN Direct was a joint venture with the live shopping giant, Home Shopping Network.
He became President of Reliant International Media in 1997.
In 2008 he served as President of TVGoods.com.
In 2010 he launched Harrington Multi Media Marketing (hm3).
His responsibilities in all of these companies have included multi-functional supervision of product development, marketing, production of infomercials and short form commercials, media purchasing, live shopping product presentations and directing all other operational matters. In 2009 he was named a member of the Nominating Committee of the Electronic Retail Association, which is considered the premier trade organization of the infomercial and electronic retail industry.
